Change of plans

Time to think So, for the last week or so I've been seemingly off the grid, not posting or sharing anything at all. This all came together as I've worked closer to getting the e-commerce site re-done. In the end, it turned out to be not worth doing it from scratch and I've re-done things using magento.  But why did I stop and did not post anything about it? The reason for it was that you actually need quite a bit of knowledge to know how to get things set up properly. It was a fun project, however I've decided not to post about it anymore, as in short - it needed a hosted server where I could upload the files and have a play with them to my liking. This once again adds up to technical knowledge which others might not be too keen of, thus I've decided to leave it be, and instead... I've re-setup bigcartel website to cancel my current paid subscription, so it gets reverted to previous address (Yes, with the ugly .bigcartel.com) inside it.. However.. It...

Barely any progress

A tiny snippet of how the sublime editor looks like and some barely made "progress" As a follow up, today I've decided to start working on updating one of my "portfolio" websites - jewelltry.com  Even though most of the day was spent on researching the latest, best, fastest, most popular  technologies used nowadays to develop e-commerce websites, I've not managed to find anything too useful and still majority goes in favour for either quick setup stores like shopify  or etsy  or as in my case - bigcartel   which I do highly recommend :) Secondary approach to such development could be also done completely from scratch OR using something like wordpress or magento  of which later I might try out too. As to do at least some kind of progress, I've decided to fire up my beloved IDE for web development - Sublime Text 3  and scrambled the main page together. Let me start fresh

Fresh start *There is a Too long, did not read section at the bottom to save you some time ;)  What does this mean and what is it all about? I'm going to try and showcase, that you do not have to be a master of any sorts in either IT or Programming in general to be able to make some income from the Internet :)  Over the course of ... ?? (No clue yet) I'm going to try and post daily at least, on my progress of trying to earn some money on my own means. One of them is obviously re-starting this blog. As a proof, it already shows, that I've only spent around 15~ minutes just scrambling this together.
